Final Fantasy Resonance has many bonus items and secrets to find. There aren’t that many locked chests, however, so the one in the Nameless Ruins might surprise some players. There is also a riddle that describes how to unlock the chest for those paying close attention. This guide will explain the riddle and show exactly how to open the locked chest in the Nameless Ruins in Final Fantasy Resonance.
How to Open The Nameless Ruins Locked Chest
When you enter the Nameless Ruin during the Chapter 5 main quest, you’ll find a locked chest next to a statue. If you try to open it, you are greeted with this riddle:
“First, a broken sword pierced the sky, bringing light. Then, a withered horse was laid to rest, becoming the land. Finally, darkness once sealed was unleashed, cleaving day from night.”
This is actually referring to the order you must activate the statues in the Nameless Ruins dungeon. If you examine the statue next to the locked chest, it reads, “Statue of Darkness Sealed.” This is the final statue.
There are two more statues you must find within the Nameless Ruins. When you interact with a statue, it will ask you if you would like to touch it to activate it.
You must interact with the statues in the correct order to open the locked chest.
First Statue Location
The first one to activate, “Statue of a Broken Sword,” is directly to the right of the second save point, before you enter the final room.
Second Statue Location
The second one to activate, “Statue of a Withered Horse,” is on the far western side of the entrance map. At the entrance, go up the stairs to the next room, then far west.
Go down the other stairs to reach the other side of the entrance map, which was blocked by rubble. The statue is to the left of the stairs.
Third Statue Location
The final one to activate, “Statue of Darkness Sealed” is right next to the locked chest. Remember to activate this one last. If you do not activate the statues in the correct order, you will not be able to open the chest.
Nameless Ruins Locked Chest Reward
The reward for opening the chest is heavy armor called, “Tyr’s Armor.”
- 159 Physical Defense
- 93 Magic Defense
- -38 Speed
- Increases HP by 250
- Grants constant Protect when at less than half of max HP.
This can be equipped by Rain, Lasswell, Lid, and Jake.
The stats and bonuses on this armor are very good and will last through most of the game. It suits Rain’s role as a Sentinel well, but can also be used for some extra protection on one of the other previously mentioned party members.
The constant Protect can save your life. It is also nice to not need extra turns to manually cast Protect if you don’t have Protega.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
