In Aion 2, players can upgrade their pets/mounts and unlock new abilities and better stats for them by farming pet souls. On top of that, pet collection is directly tied to Genus Insight, a core character progression system. The more pets you max out, the more Genus Insight EXP you earn, which, in turn, allows you to obtain more passive stats with better rolls.
However, pet soul farming can be a bit tricky if you’re familiar with how the game handles pet soul drops. Here’s how it works.
How to Unlock Pets in Aion 2
In Aion 2, pets can typically be unlocked by collecting pet souls from mobs. Every time you kill a mob, there is a chance it will drop a pet soul for you to pick up. Once you collect 5 pet souls of any type, the pet will unlock and become equippable in the menu. You can check the progress of pet soul collection in the pets menu.
There are 3 levels to every pet:
- Level 1: Collect 5 Pet Souls (Unlocks Pet)
- Level 2: Collect 25 Pet Souls
- Level 3: Collect 75 Pet Souls
Every time you level up a pet, it unlocks new stats and abilities. At level 3 (max level), you even unlock the ability to transform into a pet yourself, though this requires an Empathy Candy item.
Other ways to unlock pets are pet selection chests, quest rewards, or in-game shop purchases. Certain pets come fully upgraded when you first unlock them, with all of their abilities and stats at max level.
How to Farm Pet Souls in Aion 2
To farm pet souls, you need to find the corresponding mob’s spawn locations and kill it over and over, picking up dropped pet souls along the way.
To find spawn locations, go to the Pets section, select the pet whose soul you want to farm, and click on Source in the context menu pop-up. If the pet is found somewhere on the map, you’ll see the location and the level of the mobs in the area.
How to Solve Mobs Not Dropping Pet Souls
An important thing to remember while farming is that pet soul drops are directly affected by your character level. If your level is too high in comparison to a mob, the drop rate for pet souls from that mob will be drastically reduced, resulting in 1 pet soul dropping every 20-30 kills, instead of dropping from every kill like normal.
From our testing, if you’re within a 10-level range of a mob, the pet soul drop rate remains unaffected, but if the difference is greater, the drop rate plummets. So, if you’re trying a level 10 mob’s pet souls while your character is level 30, almost none of the mobs will drop one. However, if you’re trying to do the same thing with a level 23 mob while you are 30, it will almost always drop a pet soul when you kill it.
If you’ve outleveled a mob by too much, it’s recommended that you only try farming its pet souls at level 45. This is because when you reach this level, every mob in the game becomes level 45 as well, removing the level difference penalty instantly.
For more efficiency, increase your Gear Score to 1000+ first before you properly start farming. After Level 45, your character can become stronger by increasing their GS and investing in more skills and stigmas for their class, but the mobs can’t.
Pet Auto Loot Voucher
In the Wind Breeze Merchants Shop, you can purchase a Pet Auto Loot Voucher for 500,000 Kina. This item makes it so that any time you kill a wild mob and it drops a pet soul, your character automatically picks it up, instead of requiring you to press F every time. This is a small quality-of-life upgrade that’s completely optional, especially if you’ve already gotten into the habit of killing mobs and pressing F on their dead body to pick up any loot that drops.
Each Pet Auto Loot Voucher lasts 30 days.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
