Goku may be Dragon Ball’s main character, but outside of the original series, he’s very rarely the strongest fighter by the end of each story arc. Even in Dragon Ball Z, the Frieza Saga was the single arc where he was the actual strongest – and that was only after he miraculously unlocked Super Saiyan. Especially in Dragon Ball Super, it’s not unusual for Goku to get surpassed by stronger, better fighters. Even Vegeta’s gotten in on the fun.
For as much as Vegeta complains about needing to surpass Kakarot, he’s actually been more powerful than Goku on a number of occasions. There are several DBZ and Dragon Ball Super Sagas where Vegeta is objectively stronger than Goku. And as of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and Chapter 103 of the manga, the Prince of All Saiyans has finally bested his rival once and for all.
Dragon Ball: 10 Strongest Characters Who Rival Gods of Destruction, Ranked
After years of training and mastering God Ki or new forms, a few Dragon Ball characters have grown powerful enough to rival the Gods of Destruction.
Vegeta Had a Higher Power Level During Their First Fight
Saiyan Saga
Despite how Vegeta treats their first fight, Goku neither beats nor surpasses Vegeta during the Saiyan Saga. Goku briefly has a higher Power Level than base Vegeta did when he used the Kaioken x4 to overpower him during their beam struggle, but Vegeta still had more than enough Ki to create an artificial moon, turn into a Great Ape, de-power, and tank a Spirit Bomb.
If Vegeta were smarter, he could have killed Goku without transforming. The only reason Vegeta considers their first battle a loss is because of how badly Goku wounded his pride. Goku proved that a Lower Class Saiyan could not only rival the Elite, but nearly kill one. The fact Vegeta had to resort to turning into an Oozaru was a massive humiliation for him. In terms of pure power, though, Vegeta had Goku clearly beat.
Vegeta is Stronger Than Goku For Half of Namek
Namek Saga
Following the end of the Saiyan Saga, Vegeta undergoes the first of many Zenkai Boosts that give him the strength to compete with the strongest members of the Frieza Force on Namek. While Goku has to wait for the Senzu Beans to regrow to heal his broken body, Vegeta heals up on one of Frieza’s many planets and starts taking out the Frieza Force’s members one by one.
Cui, Dodoria, and Zarbon all die by Vegeta’s hands before the Frieza arc reaches its halfway point. It isn’t until Goku leaves for Namek and starts training non-stop in outer space that he finally surpasses Vegeta. By the time he lands during the Captain Ginyu Saga, Goku has become much stronger than Vegeta. Until that point, though, Vegeta is clearly superior.

Dragon Ball Super is Finally Setting Up Goku & Vegeta’s Final Battle VS The Most Powerful God
The Dragon Ball franchise is getting fans ready for Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta’s final showdown with the ultimate warrior: Beerus.
Super Saiyan Vegeta Was Stronger Than Super Saiyan Goku
Androids Saga
It’s easy to overlook, but Vegeta is stronger than Goku for a huge chunk of the Cell arc. In the three-year period between Future Trunks warning Goku about the Androids, and Dr. Gero & 19 making their first appearance, Vegeta not only unlocks Super Saiyan, he actually surpasses Goku. Super Saiyan Vegeta is quite a bit stronger than SSJ Goku in the Androids Saga.
This isn’t a case of Goku being held back by his Heart Virus, either. Both Piccolo and Tien Shinhan acknowledge that Vegeta has simply trained much harder than Goku. This makes complete sense in theory. Vegeta already has a higher base Power Level than Goku. Naturally, he’d be able to surpass Goku now that he’s become a Super Saiyan, doubly so since Goku was held back by training with Gohan and Piccolo.
Super Saiyan 2 Enraged Vegeta Officially Surpasses Super Saiyan 3 Goku
Battle of Gods
Although Goku far outclasses Vegeta at the end of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods once he performs the God Ritual, Vegeta surpassed him earlier in the movie without needing any God Ki. When Beerus slaps Bulma, Vegeta undergoes a massive rage boost that gives him access to an enraged version of Super Saiyan 2.
Super Saiyan 2 Enraged Vegeta is so powerful, he actually manages to land several blows on Beerus and make him bleed: something even Super Saiyan 3 Goku failed to accomplish. If that weren’t enough, Master Roshi outright says that Vegeta has surpassed Goku, confirming that SSJ2 Vegeta was much stronger than SSJ3 Goku.

Ultra Ego is Just as Strong as Ultra Instinct – If Not Stronger
Granolah the Survivor Saga
In the Granolah the Survivor Saga, Beerus finally recognizes Vegeta as his true disciple and gifts him a God of Destruction earring. The earring itself is symbolic, but ends up being a token of Vegeta’s mastery over Destructive Ki. While fighting Granolah later in the arc, Vegeta fully taps into his Hakai powers and triggers Ultra Ego: a form with the potential to rival Ultra Instinct.
Despite being totally untrained and unrefined, Ultra Ego is already as strong as Perfected Ultra Instinct, if not slightly stronger. Ultra Ego makes Vegeta grow stronger the longer he fights and the more he gets hurt, giving him greater potential than Ultra Instinct. If Vegeta didn’t exhaust his energy fighting Granolah and Gas, he could have realistically beaten both thanks to Ultra Ego.
Vegeta Beats Goku Once & For All in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero
Super Hero Saga
Vegeta’s greatest victory ever came at the end of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. After spending all movie battling Goku in base, Vegeta finally gets the upper hand when he lands one final blow on Goku, dodges his final attack, and manages to keep himself standing while Goku drops to the ground. For the first time ever, Vegeta beat Goku fair and square.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero confirms that Vegeta is indeed stronger than Goku. As of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 103 – the chronologically last chapter in the manga – Goku still hasn’t surpassed Vegeta. In fact, Vegeta is so strong now, he can fight Gohan Beast while using Super Saiyan Blue Evolved, while Goku had to resort to using Perfected Ultra Instinct. If that doesn’t prove Vegeta is stronger than Goku, nothing does.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
